ContactCORP are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our client, a global logistics business in Swindon on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will have strong experience in warehouses, with plenty of skill using hand scanners and other handheld equipment. The successful candidate will be paid £11.50 an hour.
Duties of the Warehouse Operative role:
- Perform a variety of warehousing tasks, including picking, packing and unloading
- Picking various goods, dependant on company clients and contracts
- Using handheld scanners throughout the shift
- Picking and carrying objects, usually no heavier than 20 kg
- Loading and unloading vans
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a warehouse operative and/or production operative using hand scanners within the last 12 months
- Must be able to commute to South Marston, Swindon
- Must be willing to commit to all shift times below
Additional Info:
- £11.50 an hour
- Based in South Marston, Swindon
- Standard shift: 8am – 4pm
- High volume shifts: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm
- 37.5 hours per week
- Standard 3-month temp-to-perm period, subject to change
