Our client works within the Renewable Energy sector, designing and manufacturing hydrogen powered fuel cells and hydrogen refuelling systems. These designs and products are put into use nationally to provide a clean alternative solution for business and leisure. We are now looking for HSEQ Co-ordinator to work with this busy work environment.
Main purpose of the role is to develop, implement and maintain quality, Environmental and Health and Safety management Systems. Responsibility for managing health and safety process and implementing best practices throughout the organization.
Key Accountabilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's management system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Establish and monitor quality objectives, performance indicators, and metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures, including inspection plans, quality gates, and acceptance criteria.

Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformances and prevent recurrence.

Monitor and analyse data and trends to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations and implement effective safety management systems.

Conduct risk assessments and develop controls to mitigate identified risks.

Provide training and guidance to company employees

Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their adherence to quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to company management system.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:
-
Proven experience in developing and implementing management systems, preferably in and R&D or Manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Health and safety qualification, such as IOSH or equivalent.

Experience in conducting internal audits and leading root cause analysis.

Knowledge and experience of non-compliance investigations, RCAs & respective corrective action plans.

Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and tools.

Experience within a Hydrogen or Oil & Gas Manufacturing (desirable).

Additional information:

£37,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependant on experience
