ContactCORP are looking for a capable Assistant Production Manager specialising in Signage and Large Format to join our client, a national signage and large format printing company. Working closely to assist the Production and Installation Managers, you will help ensure that signage is manufactured to the highest standard and that installations meet strict deadlines along with maintaining impeccable standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Production Manager
- Buying materials, ensuring production have everything they need
- Scheduling / planning and coordinating production
- Responsibility for adhering to print schedules, maintaining workload etc.
- Working knowledge of sign manufacturing
- Leading the team on the shop floor
- Resolving issues
What we're looking for:
- Comprehensive understanding of print production processes and techniques, particularly signage & large format print.
- Experience leading a Large Format Print & Signage department, managing a small team of Print Operators as well as being hands on with all the equipment.
- Hands on experience of Large Format Printers including the Vutek, along with digital cutting/CNC routing Machines.
- Proven strength of character and capability to manage in a motivational way.
- Comprehensive understanding of print production processes and techniques, particularly signage & large format print.
- Experience with RIP software

Additional info:
- Based in Swindon
- Own transport is desired, but not essential
- £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
- 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays
