Job title: Night Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Swindon M4 Corridor
Salary: up to £32,000 + Excellent Bonus Package
Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time night shift Sunday to Friday, with 1 night off in the week
Role overview:
Our client is a successful wholesale company providing services to the catering and hospitality sectors. Due to expansion of the business, our client is now looking for a team leader in their busy warehouse.
Purpose of the role:
To manage a small team of pickers ensure that the customers expectations are met at every time.
To ensure all orders are picked with the best quality and on time ready for despatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a small team and working alongside the team to get the job done
- Checking inbound/outbound deliveries and ensuring that items are delivered to customers are of the highest standard with 100% accuracy
- Assisting the team to load vehicles ready for customer deliveries
- Implementing and streamlining new processes to ensure efficiency within the warehouse
- Work with and effectively communicate with senior management concerning all operational issues
- Training and development of staff
- Managing rotas and ensuring that there is sufficient cover in the warehouse and delivery drivers
- Completing paperwork for deliveries, and completing KPI’s for team
- Carrying out reports, where good MS Skills are essential
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- Previous experience as a team leader within a busy warehouse

- Previous experience of process improvement and implementation
- You must demonstrate a positive, can do attitude and promote this with your team members
- You must have experience of working to KPIs and deadlines, and motivating your team to ensure all deadlines are met
- Confident with Microsoft office
- A flexible approach and team player who is willing to work alongside team in busy times
- Must have full license, and be aged over 25 (for insurance purposes)
