Our client is a large format printing company based in Swindon, specializing in the manufacture and installation of high-quality signage and banners. They are seeking a dedicated Installation Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate for the Installation Assistant role must possess excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Installation Assistant responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage new project installations to ensure the correct products, resources, and personnel are all available and allocated in a timely manner to achieve on-time delivery (OTD).
- Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customers for installation readiness, address queries, and keep both customers and installers informed.
- Liaison with Customer Services: Work with Customer Services to progress approvals of proofs and artwork through to production.
- Documentation Management: Ensure any RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) documentation appropriate to each project is provided to relevant parties.
- Installer Documentation: Create installer documentation and manage Vantage software.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally, experience in a similar role with knowledge of the signage industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work to tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist others.
Additional information:
- Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Office-based position in Swindon.
- 40 hours per week.
