Customer Service Advisor - Swindon, Wiltshire

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum DOE - Customer Service

Our client is an Independent Accident Repair Centre who specialise in the repair of aluminium and electric vehicles based in Swindon.

They have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor on a full-time permanent basis to join their fun, friendly team.

Salary / Hours:
£20,000 - £25,000 per annum DOE / Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 (1 hour break)

Duties will include:

This is a customer facing role, therefore excellent customer service is vital, as well as the ability to handle customer expectations and maintain customer service standards. 

  • Provide a first point of contact with Customers, answering queries personally or by telephone
  • Manage office inbox for all initial queries
  • Manage customer collection/deliveries and courtesy vehicle diaries
  • Create relevant job packs for each Customer
  • Provide regular agreed updates with Customer
  • Update various systems and portals to ensure we meet our KPI’s
  • Liaise with Insurers; Suppliers and external representatives to ensure correct information is gathered
  • Invoice preparation and creation
  • Processing card payments
  • Liaise with bodyshop; estimator and parts Department on any relevant information
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Customer service advisor key skills:

  • Body Shop experience – not essential
  • Good communicator
  • Flexible
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management/ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
