Main Purpose and Scope of the job
Working under the day to day control of the Warehouse Supervisor the job holder is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack stock and manually pick stock on a rotational basis. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. The role also requires the job holder to complete other warehouse tasks as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
· Picking, packing, loading and unloading of doors for dispatch (both forklift and ground picking on rotational basis)
· Completion of logistics paperwork
· Cleaning/Warehouse waste management
· Wrapping of goods
· Palletising doors
· Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to
· Working to quality standards
· Other duties as required
Key Attributes
· Regular repetitive medium and heavy lifting
· Current Counterbalance Licence
· Accuracy and organisational skills
· Punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Good verbal and written English communication skills
· Minimum of 2 years Fork Lift Operative and Warehouse experience
