Job Title: Telesales Executive

Location: Swindon

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Hours:  Monday – Friday (flexible hours for the right candidate)

 

Our client is expanding their Industrial and Commercial sector focus. To support this, they are looking for a telephone-based Sales Executive, who will help them find and connect with potential clients. As a Telesales Executive you will have responsibility of booking meetings, calls and events for the sales team, as well as providing a constant flow of sales opportunities to the commercial team. You will be proactive, articulate and a self-starter who is happy to sell over the phone and generate sales leads.

Core Responsibilities:

Proactively targeting new sales prospects and existing customers

Generating new business, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

Create professional emails with accurate and articulate information
Understand our clients products, services and solutions and effectively communicate them
Produce reporting as required as well as updating accurate information into the CRM database
Making outbound telesales calls to set appointments with qualified and researched suspect leads.
Develop new business areas via telephone, to introduce the company and its services.
Conduct needs’ analyses and identify prospects.
Booking appointments for external development commercial colleagues to attend
Working consistently to meet and exceed monthly targets and KPIs
Gathering and collating market information.
Building pipeline of new sales opportunities
Carrying out all necessary administrative duties
Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
 

Key Skills:

At least 1 years’ experience working in sales/telesales
You must be full of energy, dynamic and enthusiastic!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A resilient, determined and confident attitude

Evidence of successful telesales activity
Evidence of target and KPI achievement
Experience with using CRM databases and maintaining records to a high standard

A systematic logical approach to problem solving
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and sales needs

Apply technical knowledge in a variety of different business areas
Adherence to best practices and high-quality standards
Organised and self-motivated with the ability to work with a moderate level of supervision
