Based in East Swindon, our client, is looking to recruit an additional team member to support their continued growth plans.

The role of Office Administrator is an extremely important one. You need to ensure that information handled in each area is kept securely and all work is carried out to high levels of professionalism.  It is every employees’ responsibility to ensure that the workplace is, kept clean, tidy and fully compliant with all health and safety requirements and report any issues.

Working over a 4 day week and reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Administrator will have the following main Responsibilities

  • Using the Order Management System (OMS) raise jobs for production
  • Prepare purchase orders for material for customer orders.
  • Create the Selling/Shipping pack for customers goods through the OMS.
  • General administration such as filing, copying/scanning and answering telephone calls.
  • Maintaining filing systems, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Liaising with Customers, Suppliers and subcontractors where necessary.
  • Provide support to the Estimator by following up on open quotations.
  • Provide support to the Quality Engineer where required.
  • Diligent adherence to Company Procedures, Quality and any Non-Conformances reported.
  • Employee annual leave system management.
  • Any other ancillary tasks as required.

 SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficient to intermediate level in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word in particular).
  • Good communicator, both orally and written
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take instruction from the team.
  • Ability to learn and develop within reasonable timescales.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Organised and methodical by nature.
