Working for a busy Independent Financial Adviser firm in Swindon, Wiltshire, the successful candidate will work alongside their existing admin team, supporting our client's advisers to provide the highest level of financial services possible. Ideally you would have worked within a financial advisers office or have relevant knowledge and/ or experience for the job.

Financial services administrator job duties:

This is a 100% office based role and your duties will include:

  • Preparing relevant paperwork for client meetings.
  • Submitting online applications.
  • Processing and submitting new business to providers
  • Answering phones and dealing with basic client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Using quotation systems for Mortgage, Protection, Investment products.(full training will be provided)
  • Maintain and update information held on the company’s back office system.
  • Sending client authorities to Providers and chasing the required information
  • Liaise with clients (verbal/written)
  • Buy / Sell upon client / adviser instruction
  • Checking cash balance reports
  • Liaise with Providers - Verbal / Written
  • Handling of Deaths – Wills/Executors etc
  • Producing MI reports as requested by the adviser

You'll need a broad knowledge of financial services (or the willingness and ability to learn quickly) and ideally have worked in a Financial Advisers Office,  Platform or Provider.  You must also be able to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, communicate clearly and get things right first time.
