Job Title: Finance Office Administrator

Salary: Dependent on experience

 

Hours: 09.00-17.00 (Monday to Friday)

 

My client currently has an opportunity for a self-motivated, people person to become a valued member of their relaxed, close knit team and assist in the smooth running of their head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role touching on all aspects of finance inside a small company and for the right candidate there is an opportunity for training and growth within the job.

Role Responsibilities

  • Produce and issue multi-currency client invoices on Sage 50 Professional.
  • Process invoices and expenses from sub-contractors and other suppliers.
  • Process employee expenses and credit cards.
  • Manage and recharge travel agency invoices and reconcile statements.
  • Bank reconciliation in multiple currencies.
  • Set up new customers and projects on Sage 50 Professional.
  • Initial point of contact for office phone enquiries.
  • General office support to include filing, ordering consumables and stationery; managing the pool car, office leases and cleaners.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes and circulate as appropriate.
  • Update company website with news and events.
  • Provide support to marketing activities and events.

Key Competencies

  • Strong organisational skills, applied with diligence and a keen eye for detail.
  • Financial acumen – an understanding of the basic principles of finance including supplier accounts, client accounts and working in different currencies.
  • Personable, reliable, engaging, service orientated individual with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • PC proficient with the ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel. Use of Sage is essential for the role and previous experience is highly desirable.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
