Honda Swindon plant closes after 36 years

After 36 years of operation, Swindon's Honda plant closed its doors on 3,000 loyal employees despite lobbying and protests. 200 employees were kept to help the decommissioning process with the rest being hurled into unemployment from those thinking about their retirement with Honda to the newly employed apprentices that dreamed of a lifelong career. Amidst the ashes there are success stories. Anthony foresaw Honda's closure and decided to get in touch with Lisa here at ContactCORP.

Anthonys journey from Honda to Aldi

Since the Honda Swindon closure, a lot of loyal, hardworking people have undergone a great deal of hardship. Anthony is a shining example of the talent that made up its workforce. Seeing the end was drawing closer, he decided to get in touch with us here at ContactCORP and hasn't looked back since. Now Anthony is a full-time, permanent member of the Aldi family experiencing all of the benefits they have to offer.
